Are you looking for your dream home, an attractive job and a relaxing place to live?
Then join Southern Denmark´s relocation and job fair at Tønderhallerne on 18. September 2026 from 12 PM to 3 PM.
What to expect at the relocation and job fair?
The municipalities of Southern Denmark (Haderslev, Sønderborg, Tønder and Aabenraa) are looking for skilled labour and are therefore – together with URS (Udviklingsråd Sønderjylland) – organising a joint relocation and job fair for people who would like to live and work in our beautiful region.
Here you will find beautiful beaches, a lively cultural life, a variety of daycare centres and schools, attractive job opportunities and affordable real estate – and all this between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea and not far from the German-Danish border.
You can get answers to many relocation-related questions at the relocation and job fair. At around 50 different information stands, you can find out about taxes, property, kindergartens and schools, cultural and leisure activities, Danish language courses and much more.
There will also be around 100 South Danish companies taking part that are currently looking for qualified workers or expect to be able to offer vacancies in the near future.

Are you curious? Then drop by on 18. September 2026. Around 100 South Danish companies are looking forward to welcoming you and would like to tell you about your career opportunities in our region.
The municipalities of Southern Denmark are looking for skilled labour, including:
- Engineers and IT specialists
- Healthcare personnel
- Hotel and catering staff
- Transport and logistics personnel
- Skilled and unskilled labour
However, qualified labour is also sought in many other sectors.

How do I get to the relocation and job fair?
You can reach the fair by train or bus. The train stops at Tønder Station, which is a 14-minute walk from Tønderhallerne.
The buses stop at the bus stop right outside the entrance to Tønderhallerne.

Where can I park?
You can park for free at Tønderhallerne, Sønderlandevej 4, 6270 Tønder. There are free, unlimited-time parking spaces in front of the hall and on the opposite side of the street.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at Tønderhallerne. Only guide dogs are allowed.
Will there be activities for kids during the fair?
Yes, there will be an area where children can play under their parents’ responsibility.
There will also be creative activities for the children.
